Si vous souhaitez inscrire votre enfant au DofE 23/24, merci de procéder de la manière suivante (date limite : 15 Septembre 2023) :
Procédure d'inscription en 3 étapes :
1- Remplir la fiche "enrolment form 2023-2024" ci-jointe, la signer, la scanner et la renvoyer à l'adresse suivante : dofe@lyceefrancais.org.uk
2- Remplir le google form suivant (avec votre enfant) : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc3DLUA4eoS0ZqoY2-RsaDO_0YxgiUXuqxVFV0MJjPl2dZxLQ/viewform?usp=pp_url
3- Si votre enfant est retenu, vous recevrez la procédure à suivre pour le paiement.
Paiement à effectuer entre le 22 et le 25 Septembre sur www.parentpay.com. Si le paiement n'est pas effectué au 25 Septembre, votre enfant ne sera malheureusement pas inscrit.
Le nombre d'inscrits est limité :
- 120 places au Bronze Award (réservé aux élèves qui auront 14 ans ou plus cette année scolaire – de sept. 23 à août 24)
- 80 places au Silver Award (réservé aux élèves qui auront 15 ans ou plus cette année scolaire – de sept. 23 à août 24)
Si la demande dépasse le nombre de places disponibles, nous ferons en sorte d'accommoder au mieux chacun afin de permettre aux élèves qui le souhaitent de pouvoir vivre l'expérience DofE au cours de leur scolarité au LFCG.

If you would like to register your child for the DofE 23/24, please follow the process below (deadline : 15th of September latest):
Registering Process in 3 steps :
1- Fill in the enrolment form 2023-2024 attached, sign it, scan it and send it back to the following email address: dofe@lyceefrancais.org.uk
2- Fill in the following google form (with your child): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc3DLUA4eoS0ZqoY2-RsaDO_0YxgiUXuqxVFV0MJjPl2dZxLQ/viewform?usp=pp_url
3- If your child is selected, you will receive the process for payment that has to be made by the 25th of September.
Payment has to be done between 22 and 25 September on www.parentpay.com. If the payment is not done by 25 September, we will unfortunately not be able to enrol your child.
There are a limited number of seats:
- 120 participants for the Bronze Award (for students who will turn 14 and above during this academy year – from Sept. 23 to August 24)
- 80 participants for the Silver Award (for students who will turn 15 and above during this academy year – from Sept. 23 to August 24)
If the demand exceeds the places available, we will try to accommodate everyone in a fair manner, so they can participate in the programme at some point during their time at LFCG.

Archives : Réunion d'informations pour les parents Mardi 12 Septembre(English version below)
Chaque année, le LFCG propose aux élèves de s'inscrire au Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE), programme répandu et reconnu au U.K.
Le DofE est un programme éducatif et sportif qui sort les élèves de leur "zone de confort" et leur permet de développer de vraies compétences pour leur futur. Ce programme exige un réel engagement des enfants à l'année.
Une réunion d'informations sera donnée le mardi 12 Septembre au lycée en salle Iselin afin de vous expliquer les spécificités du programme.
- Bronze Award : Réservé aux élèves qui auront 14 ans ou plus au cours de cette année scolaire (de Septembre 2023 à Août 2024). Les élèves suivront un programme annuel et partiront 2 fois en expédition 2 jours/1 nuit.
Meeting Bronze Award 12th of September 6-7pm en salle Iselin au LFCG. Pour les parents seulement (en raison de places limitées).
- Silver Award : Réservé aux élèves qui auront 15 ans ou plus au cours de cette année scolaire (de Septembre 2023 à Août 2024). Les élèves suivront un programme annuel et partiront 2 fois en expédition 3 jours/2 nuits.
Meeting Silver Award 12th of September 7pm-8pm en salle Iselin au LFCG. Pour les parents et les élèves qui souhaitent se joindre à la réunion.
PS : Les élèves inscrits au Bronze l'an dernier n'ayant pas effectué leur "qualifying expedition" et souhaitant intégrer le programme Silver pourront valider leur Bronze Award à travers leur Silver Practice expedition qui sera considérée comme "bronze Qualifier". Ils pourront donc valider leurs 2 Awards Bronze et Silver cette année !
Des réunions ultérieures seront organisées pour les éleves inscrits au programme.

Every year LFCG gives students the opportunity to register for the Duke of Edinburgh award (DofE) which is a famous and recognized program in the UK.
The DofE is an educational, sports program that takes pupils out of their "comfort zone" so they can experience and develop useful skills for their future. This program requires real commitment from students all year.
A meeting will be organised on Tuesday 12th September at LFCG in Iselin in order to explain to you everything you need to know about this program.
DofE at LFCG allows you to participate in either Bronze or Silver DofE Awards.
- Bronze Award : For students who will turn 14 (and above) this academic year from September 2023 until August 2024. They will follow the program all year and will leave on 2 expeditions, 2 days/1 night.
Meeting for the Bronze Award 12th of September 6-7pm (salle Iselin LFCG) for parents only (as we have limited seats).
- Silver Award : For students who will turn 15 (and above) this academic year from September 2023 until August 2024. They will follow the program all year and will leave on 2 expeditions, 3 days/2 nights.
Meeting for the Silver Award 12th of September 7pm-8pm (salle Iselin LFCG) for parents and students who want to join.
PS : Bronze award students from last year (2022-23) who haven't done their bronze qualifying expedition, will be able to use their Silver Practice expedition as a bronze qualifying expedition. Therefore, they will be able to validate both awards, bronze and Silver this year.
Subsequent meetings will be organised for students who will enter onto the program.
